Campaign Story

In the Municipality of Gjakova there is only one music school “Prenk Jakova”. Thus, due to the big interest of students to enroll in this school, it seemed necessary to open another private music school for students of all ages. Where students will raise their professional capacities by studying instruments, such as violin, piano, flute, clarinet, guitar, etc.

The executive director of the Music School “In Tune”, Dalvin Mamusha is a talented violinist who has participated in several traditional concerts in Kosovo and abroad. He is a member of the group, “Don’t Listen to your Neighbors”, and as a violinist has performed in various festivals such as Kosovo, Switzerland, France, Germany and Serbia. And together with the Pirolo group, he has held Summer Master Classes in Burgundy, France, etc.

What is our goal?

The goal of the project is to serve for music education and preparation of students for further education. So, in order to achieve our goal, we need a suitable environment that meets all the school conditions for music students, because it is very important for them to learn, create and work in a creative and artistic place.

With the opening of the music school “In Tune”, young people will participate in various cultural activities organized by NGOs and local institutions and other music schools. But also, “In Tune” aims to organize cultural activities in Kosovo and abroad. 

How will your support help?

With your support, it will be possible to finance the equipment that will be necessary for the music students and staff of the school. So in order to finalize our work, we need to buy desks, chairs, music stands, instruments for kids, sanitary equipment, etc.

Through “In Tune” Music School young musicians will promote and preserve traditional Albanian cultural values. So, the main beneficiaries of this project will be students, young musicians.

We intend to cooperate with the Municipality of Gjakova, namely the Department of Culture and  Education, “Prenk Jakova” Music School, and together we will promote classical and traditional cultural values.

Budget
