Who are we?

Sustainability Leadership Kosova (SLK) is a local NGO committed to nurturing a sustainable future for our Kosovo. Through education, consulting, and fostering community connections, we stand united under the banner of #MoseMerrMalin. Our purpose is to address the pressing issue of deforestation with empathy and understanding.

We recognize the urgency to act!

Through our research, satellite imagery, and GIS technology, we have gained insight into the concerning scope of deforestation in our region. The results are cause for concern: over 2 hectares of our precious forest are lost daily, equivalent to the size of 3.5 football fields. If this trend persists, by 2035, Kosovo’s vibrant forests will face irreparable damage.

Our Vision: is to restore nature’s balance and preserve Kosovo’s forests. 

How will your support help us?

To realize our vision, we seek your support. Our #MoseMerrMalin Fundraiser aims to acquire the DJI AGRAS T30 Agricultural Drone—a pivotal tool in our reforestation efforts. This innovative drone, with its aerial sowing capabilities, offers an efficient and effective approach to restoration. Its acquisition not only paves the way for ground-breaking sowing technologies but also opens doors to the first ‘carbon offset’ initiatives in Kosovo. 

In addition to the drone we need supporting equipment like:  Seed Sower, Seed Coating Machine, Seed Computer, and Seed Bank: Beyond the drone, our aspirations extend to acquiring essential supporting equipment. This includes a Seed Sower, Seed Coating Machine, Seed Computer, and Seed Bank. These tools form the foundation of our restoration efforts, enabling us to breathe life into every corner of our beloved land.

To achieve our mission and secure the necessary equipment and expertise, we are aiming to raise 40,000 EUR through this crowdfunding campaign.
