• You must set a funding goal and the amount should fully cover all financial needs to fully implement your project as planned. If a project does not reach 35% of its funding goal within the first 15 days of your campaign, project campaign will be stopped and archived as FAILED and funds received are allocated by KOSOVA ideas at its own discretion to other actual projects.
  • The full duration of a campaign is fix 45 days for any project.
  • You must upload your material 1 or 2 months prior the launch date of your campaign. So that the editorial board will have sufficient time for advice and suggestions. Keep in mind that your campaign has 45 days to raise funds, therefore the time of the campaign must be planned accordingly. 
  • The funding goal must be coherent with the scope of the project but also realistic and 100% achievable in view of the numbers of backers the campaign might attract and the amounts they might choose to back the campaign with. For funding goals above EUR 4’000.- campaigners have to assure the formal commitment of at least one substantial backer or curating partner prior to publish the campaign. Based on KOSOVA ideas’ experience a campaign needs, in order to be 100% successful, minimum 25% covered by curating partners or some heavy backers plus at least 100 backers to make up the balance. For amounts above EUR 8’000.- it needs two and for amounts above EUR 16’000.- three upfront committed partners or substantial sponsors.
  • If a project does reach or surpass 35% of its funding goal within the first 15 days, the project initiators receive the amount paid during the whole campaign minus 10% (6% service charge, 4% transaction fees).
  • Projects involving financial investments, ego projects, projects to promote politics, an ideology or religion as well as development aid and disaster relief-related projects will not be accepted.
  • The editorial board has the right to reject projects when these do not conform to our guidelines or if a project is not suitable for any other reason. The editorial board can also stop and delete any project if guidelines are violated or if the project is in breach of the General Terms and Conditions. 
  • The editorial team reserves the right to edit project image, title and lead text. Project images containing text elements cannot be accepted. 
  • Projects must not be published on other crowdfunding platforms at the same time. 
  • As soon as the project goes online, funding goal and the project’s content cannot be changed anymore
  • It is not possible for the project initiators to stop their projects prematurely and neither can projects be deleted once the campaign has ended.
  • KOSOVA ideas project initiators are fully responsible for the planning and managing of their campaign, the project’s implementation and communication with backers. ​
  • Data protected by copyrights must not be published unless the project initiators dispose of the necessary rights of use.
  • It is prohibited to disseminate defamatory, offensive or illegal information. In particular, pornographic, racist or similar contents must not be published.
  • Project initiators are the exclusive owners of the rights pertaining to the project.
  • If the funding goal is above 2’500.- EUR, then either the campaigner(s) has/have their own NGO under which name they present the campaign or they cooperate explitely for this specific project/campaign with a NGO in Kosovo and the payout will be sent by KOSOVA ideas to this NGO, which then provides the funds to the campaigners
  • A project without a budget is regarded as under progress and not yet ready to be published. The project budget should state the use of funds in sufficient details, so that it is as transparent and convincing for the backers. Costs for regular salaries for team members, rent, office expenses, general overheads, etc. are usually not supported by our backers.
