The situation created by the pandemic of Covid-19 has enormously harmed the health, well-being and the living standards in general, especially the economic ones, throughout the world.
We as 10 Private Preschool Institutions have immensely suffered from the situation and in order to recover and survive we are in need of support.
Taking into consideration the low economic standards of our country Kosovo, the handling of the economic recovery and the continuous growth of the infected with COVID-19 has become a serious burden.
The Government of Kosovo has taken the preventive measure of closing all Public and Private Educative Preschool Institutions for the second time, resulting in the destabilization of these institutions and risking the general well-being of children who have been part of these institutions.
Many children have been left without the daily organized routine that preschools and kindergartens offer. This has also affected the financial stability within families as one of the parents has to stay at home and dismiss his/her work in order to look after their children. During this period, children risk being exposed to electronic devices which affects the desire for activities, playing and socializing.
On the other hand, the private educative preschool institutions are endangered in economic terms as well as they depend 100% on the payments of the parents. Many of these institutions as a result of not being supported from the government risk to reduce educational personnel, as the number of children decreases and the incomes are oriented towards necessary needs such as food and work materials (disposable and didactic materials).
In order for the Private Preschool Institutions to survive, children to return to the kindergarten and parents to continue their work, we need your help.
We need your support for buying creative materials and play elements for children as well as essential food in order to continue our work.
